Moore International Ltd Induction Heating Machine by Enductelec shown here being used to Anneal / soften the ends of hardened steel ball screws. The annealing of Ball screw ends is done to soften the metal prior to it being machined. The induction heating machine can be used to heat all types of metals and can be used in the softening or hardening of metals. An easy, precise, and cost effective solution to annealing.
We can offer the service of softening the hardened steel ends of our ball screws or metal parts so that they can be easily machined to their finished specifications. Annealing is a softening process using high temperature. The metal is heated to over 600°C and then left to cool. We use an in house state of the art Induction Heating machine to quickly and easily heat the metal to the required temperature. This method is precise and cost effective due to the very short time taken for the metal to heat up.
