The TEMPUR Material is a visco-elastic, temperature sensitive open cell material which has unique pressure relieving qualities.

Suitable for patients up to high risk.

The TEMPUR Pressure Relieving Material is composed of billions of visco-elastic spherical shaped, open cells, these cells respond to body temperature and weight then shift and reorganise their position to mould to the exact contours of the patient's body.

The Tempur-Med Overlay Mattress (7cm) and Tempur-Med Mattress (15cm) is available in three categories, these categories and the recommended patient weights are as follows:

Soft – Up to 8 Stones
Medium – Between 8-20 Stones
Firm – 20+ Stones

All Tempur-Med products are covered with a waterproof and air permeable PU-cover, this provides the following benefits:
