One of the services we offer is Pendulum Slip Testing, a comprehensive slip testing service which includes a full report detailing both methods and results.

Floors are tested using the British Pendulum Tester, the accepted British Standard (BS7976) for measuring slip resistance. Correlation between readings and incidence of pedestrian slipping accidents with this tester is proven.

Tests will be conducted on 6 separate areas of the floor, the results collated and an average reading will be calculated. This reading will then be assessed against our table of values, providing a slip potential.

A detailed report of results will then be provided, as will a certificate of conformity for floor safety (if the floor passes).
